Yes! Everything in our Wilderness Medicine Library and the Assess protocols are accessible offline – in the mountains, inside a cave, in the desert, off the grid, in the sky, on airplane mode – you can take GOES remotely anywhere. 

However, getting in touch with our live experts through GOES + requires cellular service.

Only if you have access to a satellite phone. (You also need to be subscribed to the GOES+ plan to get access to the doctors.) Otherwise, you can use the Assess & Decide protocols to medically assess any accidents, illnesses, and injuries when you’re off the grid. 

While we do not provide medical care or in-person consultations, you can call our doctors in a medical emergency.

GOES is not a substitute for any type of insurance.
No, GOES does not cover the cost of medical expenses.
You will need to enter payment information to unlock your week-long free trial of GOES. You won’t be charged during the first week. If you don’t cancel before the 7th day of your free trial, your billing cycle will begin and you will continue to have full access to GOES. If you cancel within the first week, you will still get to use GOES for the rest of the week, without being charged.
Depending on your subscription, you will be billed monthly or annually, using the form of payment you entered to start your free trial. Your subscription will auto-renew each month or year unless you cancel.
Yes, you can change your subscription tier at any time. If you are upgrading, you will get charged the difference and then get access to that new tier immediately. The next billing cycle, you will be charged the rate of the upgraded tier. If you are downgrading, you will get access to your current tier for the rest of your billing cycle. The next billing cycle, you will be charged the lower rate and only have access to that tier.

You can cancel at any time. If you cancel, you will still be able to use GOES until the end of your billing cycle.

You can cancel your subscription by going to your GOES profile in the top right corner of your Home tab. Tap “Change my subscription”, then find “GOES.health.” Click on “cancel subscription” then follow the prompts to cancel.
